A new version is available

Authors

Hello, I wanted to let you know I have released a redesigned version of Notion Maps. The improvements includes the redesign of the map view, which includes a new design for the data of each location. It also includes the ability to hide columns, and the ability to synchronize all rows without limits. Also, now each map has its own view with the details of the rows that have been synchronized and any errors that may be found.

Here are all the improvements:

Details for each map

Now, each map has its own section. In this section, you would see your map data, status, and all locations that are synced with NotionMaps, and you can tell if any of the rows have errors. In the same section, you can update the map and see the results of that update.

Improvements to the map view

mapview-1

We have improved the view of each map, now you can see the name of the map, its configuration, and the update status (and any errors).

Map configuration

In this section, you will be able to choose different options related to your maps, such as which columns of your database will appear in the popup for each location so you don't have to see or see columns you don't need. Throughout this section, we will define different configurations that can be used on the map.

New popup

Finally, we have improved the popup that appears when you click on each location, now it is much easier to use, it adapts beautifully to any screen size and allows you to display the data in a more meaningful way. Support for various Notion data types has been added (more types are coming soon), as well as interaction for certain types (such as urls).

Note: To take effect, some of these updates will require that you re-synchronize your map
